Wildcat OUTLOOK 2008
After placing first in the Southwest Conference and seventh at the National Collegiate Club Championships in 2007, the Wildcats under the leadership of senior tri-captains, Shelly Gogol, Rachel Nau and Lizzie Stevulak, are ready to start the 2008 season strong. Offensively, the Cats will look to shooting power-houses Stevulak, Cami Kliner and JJ Hedlund, each with over 40 goals in 2007. Defensively, Kliner, Gogol, and Ashley Gusinski are expecting to control the game in front of their cage, as is third-year starter, Nau, who returns to the cage with 74% blocking percentage in 2007 league play. The Wildcats anticipate capitalizing on their deep roster including Janine Whitmore, Jennifer Shah, and Maggie Schuur. Coach Emily Schmit returns to the Wildcats for her third season.
